Elementary
Meadow Montessori Elementary admits children who would be in the equivalent of grades 1-5 in the public school system. Classes are Monday through Friday from 8:45 - 3:00. Children do not require Montessori experience to be admitted at any grade level. Children without Montessori experience will work with their teacher on an integration plan that will not disrupt their grade level learning. Children for all classes are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Our elementary program offers:
- combined class of grades 1-5
- no more than 10 students per teacher
- class size: maximum of 20 students with two teachers
- children working at their own level
- a challenging curriculum adaptable to each child’s individual needs
- Montessori with full BC Government Curriculum
- music instruction, dance and other extracurricular activities
- daily exercise
- field trips
- uniforms - Neat Uniforms in Burnaby as well as a used uniform exchange program.
